Verified Purchase. I bought this from Amazon because I am familiar with the original Swedish-language version of this book. The original is the first volume in a six-volume historical novel, which for the most part is set in 17th and 18th century Finland.

When the book arrived from Amazon, it turned out to be what first seemed to be a quality paperback volume of nearly pages, identifying itself as a "Nabu Public Domain Reprint", and stating that most likely the contents would have been scanned from a library copy and might therefore have occasional imperfections.

On closer examination, however, it turns out that this particular book has been incompetently scanned.
