There will be no season 2. But my question is How will they put all the info from the manga in one episode?. I think they might be joling us becouse i looked at the manga and there is no information about the largest titen.
The one that is double the size of the wall. No info about the real finding titan or anything so i think its gonna be a huge episode episode Man, I'm disappointed nothing was answered in this episode.
I totally thought they would talk about more, but it was just teased :. I honestly thought that I might have missed something since all that talking didn't lead to a damn thing.
Edit: someone is sending spoilers to people if you comment on here just a heads up to everyone who are anime only people. Exactly I could understand dragging it out if the season was gonna be like 20 something episodes especially with all the flashbacks during the fight scenes but it's only gonna be 12 episodes honestly some what disappointed in this season so far after waiting years for this season especially if you try to compare it to the first season.
Edit: warning some werido is sending people the spoilers if you post on here did multiple times already. For sure. The last two episodes have felt more like fillers rather than furthering the plot.
Maybe the next episode will give us more information and maybe everything will come together. Nxt episode is gonna either be a half and half as in half flashback and the other half real time or about a third of flashback cause I seen the preview for nxt episode said some shit about Ymir having a plan and reflecting on her past so that's why I'm saying half and half or a third and this show loves it's half and half.
Honestly with this show it's a lot better to watch when the season is over cause it makes the flashbacks more bearable versus when you watching every new episode when it comes out then when it gets interesting gotta wait a week for a half and half probably the reason why I enjoyed the first season so much had every episode available they did half and halfs last season as well but it was acceptable cause they need back story on the people but still you get my point.
Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Here's to hoping a shit ton of questions are asked next episode! To be fair the chapters in the manga were the same way.
Is what it is. I'm more upset we will prolly wait another 2 years for the next season. Why are they trying to drag it out so much? I'm not a manga reader myself, but I understand that they want to make sure that there is enough manga content left and that they don't catch up to it, like I believe is what happened with season 1.
But isn't the manga almost at Chapt ? And we're ending this season at around chapt 50? Surely they could have covered a few more things without worrying about lack of leftover material.
I just got up to date with the manga today. Personally I think the creators of the show have done a good job presenting the manga. Almost everything that appears in the manga is shown on screen with almost no filler in the anime.
While i agree that last week's episode was a bit drawn out, the significance of this latest episode will most likely become more apparent as the show progresses.
I, like everyone else was upset by only 12 episodes being announced for this season, however after catching up with the manga after I stopped reading it three years ago I completely agree with their decision.
The way the story progresses in the manga it would've made more sense for season 1 to have been 37 episodes. Making season 2, 25 episodes long would have resulted in a major shift in the story with the resulting cliff hangers mostly likely upsetting a lot of the viewers.
This season is so short and these last couple episodes have been a real drag. I'm not sure how they justify leaving such a long gap between seasons, cutting it in half and then having a good portion of that half used up as filler.
May be time to give manga another shot. The manga is definitely worth a read. I finished the last 50 chapters in maybe 3 or 4 days and it's really addictive and makes you keep wanting to not put it down.
The next three episodes will conclude with them leaving the forest, some going back to the titan village and others going back to the wall.
That'll be a total of 4 episodes with barely anything happening. A third of the season. This fucking anime.. Don't forget the likelihood of one or more of those episodes covering some flashbacks or otherwise uninteresting subplots.
Don't get me wrong. I really enjoy the show but I've been so blue balled since the wrestling episode. I was under the assumption that they were gonna ramp up the intensity and cut the brakes for these last few episodes but nooooope.
Gave us an incredible episode and then 2 weeks without even a tease smh. They just posted a bunch of spoilers to try and ruin the show for the anime-onlies.
I don't want to post specifically what they said, but if you've read the manga let me know and I'll pm you. Other parts of it were technically "spoilers", but not terribly important ones.
I would try not to worry about it too much, there are still plenty of twists to come. Sorry about that though. People can be dicks. Oh, and just for future use, you can restrict your PM settings so only those sent by selected people get through.
May be useful for avoiding this sort of thing. Honestly, this episode was filler trash. We learned nothing. Pretty fucking weak. I like the show I really do.
But all the mystery and intrigue feels like it was planned and done on pages but extended to volumes of manga dunno how many volumes there are, searching would just yield spoilers which in turn means the pacing of the anime is hurt.
Just as soon as anything meaningful or interesting is said or shown on screen, we're hit with 10 minute flashbacks explaining things or telling us motivations of the character when we already know.
Anything that moves the plot forward is always placed at the last 5 minutes of the episodes with cheap cliffhangers and flashy "next episode" clip, and at this point it's kinda getting annoying and overdone.
The highs of this season are higher than the previous season but the lows are lower and at this rate it feels like a drag.
I hope the next episodes redeem the season. Maybe I wanted more from something I waited for, for a couple of years and to get 12 episodes which seemed like it'll help explain he mystery and intrigue set in the past season whilst also pushing the plot forward succinctly without much filler was maybe too much for this show.
Edit: Lol a dude legit got triggered by the criticisms and messaged me spoilers etc but as soon as I read a minor characters dying - just stopped me reading the rest.
Get a life son. This times a million. I don't read the manga, I only watch the show. Season 1 had a great mix of pacing and world introduction and action.
Season 2 is a pacing joke. This entire episode has essentially no plot development, at all, which is par for the course so far.
Edit: some dude PM'd me a bunch of spoilers about the manga because he's a hardcore keyboard warrior. They also created a brand new alt to do so because why not.
I've already read pretty much all spoilers after I got fed up with episode 6 this season, but good effort, guy. I think the last 2 episodes were kinda meh.
The season started off real strong and i was really into it through the fight, but at this point they are dragging crap out. The show seems very drawn out and seems intent on flashing a ton of stuff in front of us and keeping us in edge without really explaining any of it.
The first half of the season was fine in this sense but the last 2 episodes kind of hit a wall. Not a lot going on and just dialogue that does little to add to the overall plot.
Man the episodes are getting unbearably slow this season. There was hardly any relevant info in this episode. Hope the next one is better.
So did anything of value happen this episode? Did anything of value happen last episode, either? I feel like the last four episodes could have easily been condensed into one with nothing important being missed.
Well, we got Eren learning to somewhat restrain himself, or at least attempting to. We also got the reveal that Reiner killed Marco. I have picked up reading the manga, and the episode corresponds directly to a chapter pretty much frame to frame.
My issue is that it shouldn't be like that. An adaptation shouldn't be a copy of what it is adapting. There was a four year gap between season 1 and 2 and having several slow episodes with nothing really happening is a shame.
The problem is that people will be pretty mad if they depart from the source material too much. I don't know much about Percy Jackson but The Last Airbender wasn't just a departure, it was a demonstration of not understanding the source material.
A good example of an adaptation would be movies like Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. They certainly skipped parts of the books but in most cases those parts were unneeded and the movies existed fine without a few parts.
The Percy Jackson movie basically kept some if the characters and some if the locations, but then ditched the ending of the book for another ending.
In the book, we find out the Greek Titan obviously unrelated to these Titans Kronos, who has been imprisoned in the depths of Tartarus the Greek version of hell for centuries, has been manipulating everyone into starting a civil war so that he can gain power enough to break free.
Everyone thought Hades had stolen Zeus' lightning bolt his symbol , but it turned out Kronos had manipulated an unknowing Percy into bringing the bolt to him the entire time , whereas, in the movie, Hades actually did do it, thus destroying the overall plotline of the next four books.
Yep, we learned nothing this episode. Fucking trash. I really liked this show but I'm starting to hate it because of how goddamn slow it is. Jesus fuck.
Although this episode was slow, it followed the manga pretty precisely. Next episode should be big. I agree with everyone's opinion that the pacing feels slow but I feel like there are some interesting theories that can be explored based on the variety of Titans we saw and how they reacted to Eren, Riener and Co.
How are we going to have straight filler with such a short season. This episode was like an appetizer before the chef shits on your entree.
Hope we bounce back with the last couple.. Perhaps it's because I've just binged the season but I don't understand why this episode was so disappointing for all of you.
The plot was significantly advanced with the introduction of the primate abnormal as a major enemy who I speculate has the ability to turn people into titans.

The character interaction was captivating and you really get a sense of the enemy's drive and emotions towards humanity-which aren't blindly malevolent like everyone keeps believing.
