Don't want to spoil more of the plot, but the POV is very much Neeson's, and I felt it realistically conveyed the sense of paranoia when you don't know who on-board you can trust and who is a possible terrorist or hijacker.

Great job. Non-Stop is indeed a non-stop action thriller. I have seen a several good movies involving airplanes, but this one is now at the top of the list.

What made this movie above and beyond several other action thrillers, no pun intended, was the exceptional supporting cast. The movie draws us in and lets us see below the surface of several characters so that we care about them and want them to survive.

I highly recommend this movie. I had never seen this movie before, but as I like action movies, thought that I would give it a go. I am glad that I did.

There are many twists and turns in the movie to keep you guessing who the bad guy is. Liam Neeson does a great job as an air marshal who is under pressure, while fighting his own demons and Julianne Moore excels in portraying a co-passenger who ultimately stands by him.

Plenty of action and suspense. Go buy Wow, I didn't expect to actually enjoy this movie that much. I am not a big fan of the latest plane action movies, as one seems to be as impossible as the other and we can guess the end five minutes into the plot.

However, this movie was pretty amazing in the sense that when I thought I had it all figured out, I realized I didn't.

When it all started I wondered how on Earth, are they going to bring an interesting conclusion to the story but, they did. I absolutely loved it, I was literally sitting on the edge of my couch, and at times, I wondered if my blood pressure could take any more intensity.

One thing I also would like to add is that it is a refreshingly pretty clean movie. Yes there are some violence but, nothing over the top and as somebody noted in a different review, the camera work is very much remarkable giving the amount of space and the lay out of the set- think international commercial airplane, if you have ever been on one and remember how hard it is to breath at times, when squeezed between two passengers built like lbs bodybuilders.

Now, imagine the same setting but people are running up and down, fights in the tiny closet called the restroom Remarkable really.

Like with any mystery, the list of suspects need to be developed to a point where the final reveal shocks you. Given the small runtime, I believe the character developments were adequate.

Their backstories and motives are naturally revealed. It's not a case of our protagonist interviewing each one in turn, he instead provokes them and addresses the passengers as one entity.

Sure there are times where he questions individuals, which is necessary to identify possible suspects, but that cannot be avoided. I appreciate the small details in these characters.

Moore's vulnerability is shown as she explains why she sits on the window seat, our Air Marshal's troubled past is revealed which questions the authenticity of his actions.

It's very twisty, full of turns and a meticulously thought out narrative. The final reveal and motives are slightly blurred and unmemorable, although I was still on the edge of my seat The claustrophobic environment adds to the suspense and tension.

He seems lucky enough to be travelling Business class and ends up sitting next to Julianne Moore who starts to chat him up. Meanwhile Marks has to try and stop the real killer and blackmailer from killing people on the plane with no help from outside.

The acting of Neeson and Julianne Moore as well as others I thought was pretty good and believable.

It is tense and there are several false culprits like any detective mystery has although I did find it frustrating at times with some of the suspects as I had my suspect from quite early one and was correct.

The plane inside looked pretty authentic and I would imagine they might have used a real plane on the ground of course for the filming but I might be wrong I suppose.

The setting is pretty much the plane and nowhere else. I have since discovered that in fact the plane was a set and it was built very slightly larger than a standard commercial airliner to allow for Neeson's 6'4" height for filming.

The music score by John Ottman really added to the tension. It was orchestral and the sort that makes background to a film rather than being really memorable tunes.

Things like the fact that there was much talk about not being able to throw the bomb out of the plane because the pressure would make it explode and then a bit later gun shots were fired and this caused the cabin to become depressurised at 28, feet, so why did the bomb not explode then?

It was easy watching and a fun film that did keep us hooked till the end despite having flaws. It was rather like reading a holiday type beach read book, it required little brain power and kept us entertained for the entire film.

And despite the fact that Liam Neeson has basically played the same part in every film he's done lately,he still does it well and is probably the only action hero I can take seriously in this new age of tongue-in-cheek action flicks starring muscle bound 70 year olds and washed up actors who seem impervious to bullets and can still crack bad one-liners after being blown up fourteen times!
